Welcome to my home page. I am a Software Engineer. I am passionate about a connected world. I believe technology should unite people and ideas together across digital boundaries. My work in the last few years has been designing and implementing data centric network applications with a database back end, that are used in several US government institutions to exchange critical lifesaving data remotely. I am also part of the open source community in everything related to network protocols. This page shows some of these projects.
Nostr is a Internet protocol developed in 2019, that enables global, decentralized, and censorship-resistant social media. The Nostr series is a set of programs that allow to build Nostr applications for command line, desktop or web. It is open sourced on https://github.com/pedro-vicente/nostr_client_relay

Nostro is a Nostr desktop native client, available for Mac OS, Linux, and Windows. It is currently in development. This screenshot shows it running on Mac OS, displaying several types of multimedia networked content.
